Picnic day
The United Services Union has always celebrated Union Picnic Day. Union Picnic Day is celebrated for the right reasons - giving employees with a common interest and goal the opportunity to gather together socially to promote a spirit of unity.
All financial members of the USU and their families are entitled to Picnic Day tickets if they pay the picnic day levy. Picnic day ticket is a benefit to member and immediate family, ie spouse/partner and children. Maximum tickets per member: (2) two adults and (4) children. (Families with more than 4 children please see USU official at venue)
Metropolitan Picnic Day is celebrated on the second Friday in March. In 2012 Metro Picnic Day will be held at Taronga Zoo on 9th March.
