Dear State MP,

I am writing to you as a concerned NSW resident campaigning to stop the sell off our electricity industry.

As you would be aware the current Government is still making assertions to sell the retail arms of the state's electricity assets along with developmental lands associated with the generators that were set aside for future state owned power stations.

In support of your constituents I am requesting that you speak with Mr Rees in relation to pursuing alternative proposals to maintain public ownership and move forward.

Privatisation is not the solution to our future power needs and would mean higher prices, less reliable services and fewer local job opportunities.

Multinational companies make profits for share holders not for the broader social good.

I believe that our electricity is too important to hand over to big multinational companies, particularly in times of such economic and climate uncertainty.

I am asking you to stop the sell off and keep the power in our hands.
