A couple of weeks ago I spoke with the then Prime Minister indicating that it was my intention not contest the coming election. He asked me to delay consideration of this decision, indeed to reconsider.

LIVERPOOL COUNCIL LONG SERVICE LEAVE: UPDATE
Jun 25, 2010: On Thursday 24 June a loyal member sent the USU a copy of Liverpool
Council's 2007 Long Service Leave Policy which confirms that employees
could accumulate over and above the amount of leave prescribed in the
Local Government State Award, contradicting Council's move to force
staff to use up accumulated LSL.
