In 2010 the Government intends to introduce a 'Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme' to get businesses and consumers to start reducing their pollution. They have recently released a green paper outlining an emissions trading scheme which will include the aviation industry as well as impact our daily lives as consumers. Your union is preparing a submission for this first stage of public
consultation that is due on the 10th of September. We welcome any
