Members on Board for Blacktown Council EA09

On Wednesday 11 November 2009, the Union received Council’s response to the key campaign points and items for the Enterprise Agreement 2009.
The union has held meetings with Section spokespersons and at the time of going to print has held mass meetings with members to respond to any enquiries from members.

USU Organiser Peter Kent and Industrial Officer Adam Jacka believe the strength of USU membership at Blacktown Council and the hard work of the delegates is crucial to a positive outcome for members. It is also crucial to have a strong award backing up negotiations.

"That's why it's important all members get on board for a strong Award," said Peter Kent.
