USU Get on Board Challenge Launched at Union Picnic Day

USU members and their families celebrated metro union picnic day at Luna Park on 12th March and the Union launched its Get on Board for the New Award Challenge. Find out about the challenge - and check out some picnic day photos too!

The final wage increases under the Local Government (State) Award 2007 were paid in November last year and the USU is now campaigning to secure wage increases and conditions of employment for the 2010 Award.

Now is the time to campaign for a new Award and the Get on Board Campaign Challenge is about members, delegates and new members getting together to develop local promotions, actions, and recruitment initiatives to support the 2010 State Award campaign.

We’re challenging USU members to come up with creative, novel ideas to encourage members to Get on Board with local campaigns for your new award.
