Rockdale Members BAND together in 2008

By Wayne Moody
USU Organiser
Aug 12, 2008

On 8th July 2008 Rockdale Council Members joined together by wearing an Orange Band.

Thank you to all workers who attended the Union’s “lunch & learning” meeting or signed the Union’s Petition to commence discussion with Rockdale Council for the 2008 wage increase.

Members also welcome 16 new members who joined on the day to support their fellow workers in assisting with the campaign to achieve the best result possible in 2008.

ORANGE BAND DAY COMING TO YOUR COUNCIL:
We encourage all employees to join the collective group NOW and help out!! Watch out for Orange Band Day when it comes to your Council.

Why not join up a mate and WIN?
Why not encourage a mate to join the USU prior to 30 September 2008 and they will go into the draw with all members for a fantastic weekend at the Union’s Aquatic Palm resort at Port Macquarie sponsored by MEMBERS EQUITY.
