Qantas EBA 9: Qantas reveals more detail on Claims Aug 25, 2010: The ASU National Negotiating team met with Qantas for our 9th meeting
on the 19th August. At that meeting Qantas finally presented more
detail on their claims. Your NNT are very cautious about what has been
proposed; from cashing out of annual leave to the increased use of
temporary employees. Qantas' 'flexibility' comes at the expense of a
permanent workforce and work-life balance.

NPBS EMPLOYEES VOTE TO ACCEPT NEW AGREEMENT Feb 22, 2010: The recently negotiated Enterprise Agreement covering level 1-3 employees was accepted by a clear majority of those employees who lodged a vote and although it is disappointing that some staff members did not cast a vote the result is a clear win for all USU members covered by the Agreement.
