Our mission is to protect the rights, benefits, interests and welfare of our members and to uphold and promote the principles of industrial democracy. Many thousands of workers just like you have also chosen to join the USU, allowing us to provide membership services including industrial guidance, protection and a number of significant benefits to our members.
AM I ELIGIBLE TO JOIN THE USU?
The USU represents local government, energy, airline and clerical and administrative employees throughout NSW. If you work in these areas you can join the USU and have the benefits of belonging to a strong union with a powerful voice at the local, state and national levels.
HOW TO JOIN
It's easy to join the USU. You can join in a number of ways:
 1. Arrange your membership with a quick phonecall:

Fill in your details and we will contact you
 3. Send an email and we will get you an application form:
You can send an email to requesting an application form. Please supply your name, address and email address and we will ensure an application form is sent to you.
 4. Download and complete the application form:
Simply download the form (requires Adobe Reader), complete it and forward it to:

Join up and pay using Direct Debit:
