Qantas Staff: Cash Paid for Opinions
By Clare Raffan
USU Organiser

The ASU is undertaking a research project with Qantas staff. We are inviting participation from both ASU members and non-members as we are seeking a wide range of views.

The purpose of the research is to seek the views of Qantas employees about a range of issues including working conditions, career paths, our industry, industrial relations and the union itself.

It is an opportunity for Qantas workers to have their say about any issues of interest or concern.

Participation will require attending a discussion group with other Qantas staff for approximately 90 minutes conducted by a qualified, independent social researcher.

There will be no union officials attending or involved in the discussion groups.

Cash Payment
Light refreshments are provided and participants receive a cash payment of $70 as compensation for their time and travel.

The discussions will be held at a time and location convenient to participants.

Be assured that your personal details will remain secure and cannot be used by the research company or the union for any other purpose and that your participation will remain confidential.

If you can attend one of these discussions or know of someone who would be interested, please submit your name and contact number to Clare Raffan on 0417 177 266 or by email: craffan@usu.org.au
