Ban on New AWAs Welcome - Now it's Time to Scrap WorkChoices Apr 9, 2008: The USU welcomes the ban on new Australian Workplace Agreements (AWAs)
that took effect at midnight Friday 28 March however we urge members to

USU Win for Linfox Member Apr 9, 2008: USU member Melinda Gadd was subjected to bullying and harassment following a workplace injury. Following action by the USU, Chief Industrial Magistrate Hart ordered that Melinda be paid over $3,300 in pro rata long service leave when she was unable to return to work for Linfox/Armaguard.
