Narelle Joins the Team
Aug 12, 2008: Narelle Rich moved to Port Macquarie in September 2007 to take up the position of Organiser in the Port Macquarie Office of the United Services Union.  It is a family affair for Narelle, whose family, husband Ross and children Oliver (nearly 4) and Mackenna (just 2) made the move with her, Narelle’s parents who are missing their grandchildren are also looking forward to a move to Port Macquarie.

WOLLONDILLY SIGNS UP FOR A 2 YEAR AGREEMENT
Aug 12, 2008: Wollondilly Shire Council have ensured that USU members have 2 years protection and will refer any general disputes and unfair dismissals to the NSW Industrial Commission. Members were concerned that conditions could still be stripped off  them by the Howard Government's draconian workchoices laws - laws that are not dead or buried just yet.
