CORPORATE SAVING WORKSHOPS ACROSS MID WESTERN REGIONAL COUNCIL May 1, 2009: The United Services Union urges all members and employees to attend Workshops in your area and department which have been set-up by MWRC in conjunction with the USU to allow everybody to have a say in where council’s finances could be better utilised. We need all workers to have an input so bring your ideas to the workshops.

Premier Approves the Sale of Energy Retailers Oct 31, 2008: Electricity retail workers across NSW will be left with uncertain
employment protection as the Government approved the sell-off of energy
retailers Energy Australia, Integral Energy and Country Energy today,
said the United Services Union.

NPBS EMPLOYEES VOTE TO ACCEPT NEW AGREEMENT Feb 22, 2010: The recently negotiated Enterprise Agreement covering level 1-3 employees was accepted by a clear majority of those employees who lodged a vote and although it is disappointing that some staff members did not cast a vote the result is a clear win for all USU members covered by the Agreement.
