DESTINATION 2036: REVIEW PANEL ANNOUNCED

On Tuesday March 20th, the O’Farrell Government announced the formation of a 3 person panel, called the LOCAL GOVERNMENT REVIEW PANEL to, in the words of the Minister’s own media release “SET DIRECTION FOR COUNCILS OF FUTURE”.

RANGERS REFERENCE GROUP: USU BAN ENDS UP IN COURT

THE right to cease unsafe work upheld: The new Work, Health and Safety Act and Regulations came into effect in NSW on 1 January 2012. An important part of the legislation is the right of a worker to cease unsafe work.  This is found in Section 84 of the Act.
